INDIVIDUAL THERAPY REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS
Working with Clare at 3Chairs has really made things click for me. She explains things in a way that makes sense and gives practical tools I actually use. I feel more confident, clearer, and finally starting to put myself first.
Female, 55yo
Attending therapy with Clare Fernando at 3Chairs has helped me realise how much I was putting everyone else first. I’ve learned how to set boundaries, prioritise myself without guilt, and feel confident in my decisions again. I’m starting to enjoy life more and feel like I’ve got a part of myself back.
Female, 63yo
Having Clare as my therapist from 3Chairs Therapy is actually alright. She isn’t just some professional nodding along; she really listens and gets into the ‘why’ of things, like how past dramas or family stuff mess with your head now. Whether you’re trying to set boundaries with people who drain you or just need a way to calm your brain when it won’t shut up, she’s got your back. It feels more like a strategic partnership than a clinical session, and Clare has taught me practical techniques to reduce anxiety, challenge negative thinking, stop absorbing other people’s unhealthy influences, and approach life with a clearer and more balanced mindset.
Male, 47 yo
If you’re looking for someone who tells it like it is and helps you navigate life’s messes, Clare Fernando is the one. She’s helped me use my own strengths to challenge negative habits and deal with high-stress situations without losing it. She provides a no-stress space where you can resolve interpersonal conflict and finally get some clarity on where you’re headed. At 3Chairs Therapy, you aren’t just another appointment; you’re working with someone who helps you improve your mental well-being so you can actually get on with your life.

Highly recommend Clare Fernando at 3Chairs for anyone navigating difficult life transitions. I spent years feeling belittled and losing my self-confidence, but Clare provided a mirror to my own strength that I hadn’t seen in a long time. She challenged me to ‘do the work’ and face my challenges head-on rather than avoiding them. Through her guidance, I’ve moved from a place of anger and betrayal to one of composure and peace. Her approach is compassionate, insightful, and profoundly effective. Speaking to Clare felt so easy as I knew I was not going to be judged or put down and I knew I would not be made a mockery for my mistakes. I had randomly picked 3 Chairs Therapy not knowing that in my dark times I had a confidant who was willing to listen. Even though the healing is not complete I feel a big burden of negativity has been taken off my shoulders I know my boundaries are set I am more happier and energetic, I would also make special mention to Sarah and then Chelsea who made the process very smooth from the future booking and payments. God bless and stay positive and happy always.

Seeing Clare at 3Chairs Therapy has been incredibly beneficial. Therapy helped me grow in confidence, better understand myself, and feel more open and grounded in my life. I’m really grateful for the safe, compassionate space Clare provides.
Female, 37yo
As a woman in my early 50s, with a lifetime of complex trauma that began in childhood and continued well into adulthood, I’ve spent much of the last decade doing the deep work of healing and recovery. During my sessions with Clare she has helped me make sense of the sophisticated trauma responses I’d developed over the years. Patterns that once helped me survive but were no longer serving me.
What works for me is Clare creates a safe, steady space. With her support, I’ve felt able to disarm those protective mechanisms in my own time, without ever feeling judged, pushed, or rushed.
What’s mattered most to me throughout our work together is her authenticity and respect for the process. Clare has always met me where I am, allowing growth to unfold at a pace that feels safe, manageable, and best for me.
Her insight, compassion, and ability to gently shift my perspective have helped me question old beliefs, soften the voice of my inner critic, and build a deeper trust in myself. Because of that support, I’ve found the confidence to move towards parts of my life I’d long wanted to explore but always felt out of reach.
Clare brings together deep professional knowledge with warmth, authenticity, and genuine care. I’m incredibly grateful for the role she has played so far, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who can hold both the pain of the past and the uncertainty of the present and the pathway for possibility of what comes next.
Rebecca T., early-50s

In a world where modern life asks so much of women, Her Space truly feels like both a lighthouse and a safe haven for many of us navigating different seasons, challenges and stormy waters in life. The emotional safety, warmth, consistency and care that is poured into the space does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. It is evident how much time, energy, intention and heart goes into ensuring women have somewhere they can land without pressure, perform less and simply reconnect with themselves and others in meaningful ways. Professionally and personally, I understand how much work sits behind the scenes in holding spaces like this consistently, and I wanted to acknowledge that it genuinely matters and makes a difference. Thank you again for all that you do for so many women, including me.
